Balciuin is a new but traditional style house, backing on to The River Nethy but overlooking The Abernethy Forest and The Cairngorms at the eastern edge of Nethy Bridge . Nethybridge is in ‘Monarch of The Glen’ country deep in The Cairngorm National Park. Nethy is 12 miles from Aviemore, 6 miles from Grantown-on-Spey, 4 miles from Boat of Garten, 30 miles from The Moray Firth and 35 miles from Inverness.

Accommodation Consists of three en-suite units: a double with king size bed on the ground floor, a family room with zip together twin beds and a double sofa bed and the family suite comprising of two adjoining rooms one with a king size bed and double sofa bed the other with twin beds and stacking single beds, please note that the en-suite is off the first room. All units have easy chairs, a remote control flat screen TV with DVD, a selection of books and DVD's, hospitality tray, hairdryer, room heaters and shaving points in the shower rooms. A travel cot is available on request.
There is plenty of room for parking and bicycles can be put in the garage.

Breakfast is a veritable feast, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals, fruit juice and a selection of home-made bread and jams are provided for you to dip into. Cooked breakfasts are individually tailored using fresh local free range eggs and meat products from our excellent village butcher. Special diets are catered for although it is helpful to know of these in advance.

Dinner is available at the two hotels in the village. The Nethybridge Hotel offers bar meals and The Mountview fine dining. There is a good range of other restaurants in the neighbouring towns and villages.  Dinner can be provided at Balciuin on some evenings but booking in advance is essential.

Packed Lunch can be pre booked and collected at breakfast.

Massage - After an energetic day, ease sore muscles and relax body and mind with a Sports Hydrotherm or Ayurvedic or even a No Hands massage right here at Balciuin. Guests at Balciuin are offered a 20% reduction on normal rates so a full body massage can cost as little as £30. Booking in advance is advised.

Cyclists and Walkers are very welcome at Balciuin with facilities for washing and storing bicycles and for drying clothes
